NCSAA Winter Basketball

Reminder: Student-Athletes may play up in divisions but NEVER play down for any reason. Also, please remember that every child must be registered and approved with National Sports ID (student-athletes who played Fall 2024 should be still be verified). Schools will be charged $850 per team. Coaches may NOT be the Head Coach in both Elementary & Middle School Divisions. Also, ES Rec & ES Comp divisions may not be at the same location.

I understand that if our team quits/drops out/pulls from the league for any reason after the drop deadline (even if games haven't started yet) that we will remain on the schedule and be charged the full price of the season. *

I understand that NCSAA won't be able to schedule around coaches who coach in Elementary School & Middle School. I know that NCSAA CAN schedule around those who coach multiple teams in ONLY Elementary School or ONLY Middle School *

I promise to NOT to create my own team in National Sports ID. I understand that if I create my own team I'm causing major headaches to myself and NCSAA because the settings will be incorrect. Instead I will ONLY use the teams NCSAA creates for me in National Sports ID. *

I understand that ALL Coaches must be listed on our National Sports ID roster WITH a photo in order to be on the bench. *

I understand that our team must have jerseys/t-shirts with numbers in order to play basketball. I also understand that this number must matchup to the number in National Sports ID *

I understand that I will NOT be allowed to add any players to my roster for that Saturday's Game after 6PM on Wednesday's. I fully understand there will be no roster changes on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday's. *

I understand that the NCSAA Staff does not have a child in the league and does not favor one school over another. *

I understand that all of my student-athletes (regardless of sport or activity) must be fully registered and approved with National Sports ID at the cost $12/player to participate in this Season. This includes uploading a headshot photo, a birth certificate, proof of grade, and being added to the official roster. *

I understand that even if a player is “verified” (green) in NSID but NOT on the official team roster, they are still INELIGIBLE to play. *

I understand that if I have an issue regarding my National Sports ID roster or an individual player that NSID has an entire staff dedicated to answering my questions. I can contact them using the live chat feature in the bottom left of the NSID page or by emailing [email protected]. *

I understand that Recreational ("Rec") Divisions are coed, non-competitive, will have a total of 8 games with no playoffs, scores, standings, or championships. *

I understand NCSAA Winter Basketball Game Schedules will not be released until December 21st at 6pm at NCSAASports.com *

I understand NCSAA Site Directors are there to check-in each team and make sure the games are setup and start on-time. They are NOT there to help officiate games or handle on-field calls. An official's call is final on the field. There is NO "protesting" a game's call or outcome. NCSAA will not reverse an official's decision. *

Lastly, I promise to remember sports are supposed to be fun. There are no scouts at our games. I understand NCSAA Game Officials are not professionals. Our student-athletes are there to have fun.
